OKay here is the scoop. I put my 2001 GS-R Transmission with 50k miles on it, flawless no grinds. IM in Illinois, however (2)things the trans is still in my car im swapping an Si trans in sometime in the next 2 weeks. Thre is one flaw on the trans, there is a chip on the bell housing where the (1) of the rear mount bolts go in. I was previously using the wrong bolts which I found out the hard way by going into third and the 1 of them broke out beacuse it was the wrong bolt, taking the other bolt with it. However now I have the correct bolts from Honda in the trans and it drives fine. Im taking offers I have seen them go for upwards of $850 but since the buyer would probably want to buy the bell housing($320) from Honda brand new, im willing to let it go for a lower price. So lemme know.

not quite sure where youve seen them for 850....usually 700 on here and considerring thdamage youll prob be getting around 450-500 for it

can the damage be saved by welding and tapping it

 

Well its weird how it is, because its chipped you know what I mean? Umm , I have the bolt threaded in and you can see half of the bolt. Im not sure what you would weld. I don't know jack **** about welding, its not a crack so I think you would be able to weld it. Sorry about the price, im originally from FL where theyd sell for that but its all good. Im just trying to pay some bills without ****** someone over. So if your familiar with welding lemme know. I took a picture but its a disposable camera and I haven't taken all of the pix yet but I will once they get developed.

Trades? I need suspension really bad but I don't know what I could get for a trade as far as that goes you know. I have the B16a2 trans now which has the same prob as my GS-R but I got a good deal on it so im looking for a bell housing for that. After that I need SUSPENSION real real bad.

I got an 00 Si so I got the all wheel disk, thanks though if your selling it ill let my buddy know hes got an eg and he might want it.
