you will notice more of a sound difference than a performance difference if you lose anythnig it would be small nothing noticable

a smarter thing to do is get rid of the striaght pipe and add a resonator there, as a cat delete.

well yes the goal would be to make a sound difference, what would it do?

well if you got a resonator where the cat would be it would be less loud as the test pipe and add harmonic balance to your exhaust. it would be a smarter move that having a test pipe and a resonator if you can get away with jusst the resonator... some ''test pipess'' actually are made like resonators to not be as loud as a normal cat delete

well your question was, ''i have straight pipes if i go with a resonator will i loose power''

my answer is if you are worried about the noise and power loss

you ''could'' get a ''test pipe'' in the form of a resonator and delete the cat

basicly its like getting rid of the cat to delete any power loss, but having the resonator in place of the cat to tone the sound down

oh so u are in a state that still does e checks..... then i guess your best bet is to go with the resonator, it wont effect anythnig but give you better sound

yea that sucks i live in ohio and they got rid of e check here thank god.

funny thnig there was alot of guys in the import scene here that worked at the echeck. so they would pass cars that normally wouldnt pass. like supras turbo civics and all that, it was pretty funny.... but then one day they just closed up shop. and that was the end of that
