So my 89 crx, needs some new bulbs. I want to get yellow bulbs, if not HID kit in yellow but i dont know the code or if they make kit for it.

my low beams say 9006 HB4 U
my highs say 9005 something i forgot, but are high and low always different.

And were can i get some of these bulbs to fit my car till i get HID's.

Oh and a buddy of mine said HID wont look good cause my headlights are glass, what do yal think bout that.

you can get the 9005 and 9006 from autozone..but the ones you want,,"yellow" maybe look on ebay for xenon lights or something...

and your friend is right the hids look like **** in the stock fluted glass headlights...all you do is blind every one ,glare everywhere,,and the light will be bright but not where you want..

they look good in the ebay projectors though,,even with a plug and play garbage kit the cutoff line is decent....and glare is very minimal..and for yellow hids im pretty sure they're 3000k

 

What ive i were to use the projecotr after market head lights, the front peice, like replace the glass with new plastic. Do you think that could work.

 

i guess i was meaning to say just replace the glass, with the plastic lense, would that work. keep the stock headlight look.
