Default Does My 94 Accord Have 2 Thermostats???

Aight my car been overheating bad enough to where I'm driving the car for about 10-20 min and the temperature goes all the way up, sometimes past the redline. Now today I bought a new thermostat and gasket for it and replaced it but when i took out the old one, it was perfectly fine because I had the work done about 6 months ago. so the new one is in and I still have the same overheating problem. I noticed that on the top of the radiator where the cap is, there is another hose that connects to the engine which looks like another housing to a thermostat. is that a thermostat or is it something else?? I'm asking now because tomorrow I'm gonna take it off and see whats in there and take the other thermostat and put it in there. So is that another thermostat?? And if not what else could be the problem?? I'm already on my 3rd water pump and timing belt which was done 6 months ago. Thanks in advance

Your car only has one thermostat, it is located in the thermostat housing connected to the lower radiator hose.

Edit: Correction, thermostat housing connected to lower radiator hose.

I got 2 then cause the thermostat that I changed was behind the engine on the passenger side where the bottom hose thats connected to the radiator goes to the housing to the thermostat. So I guess ill be messing with the top one tomorrow

If you replaced the thermostat, then that is the only thermostat.

Here is a link regarding cooling problems:

Take off the upper hose??? Anyway as mentioned follow the lower radiator hose and it will take you to the thermostat housing in the back of the engine bay. The front DOES NOT have a thermostat that tricked me the first time I got my 90 Accord. It just looks like a housing and your only supposed to have one thermostat as mentioned already.
