rear engine bracket confusion
ok so is there a difference between the rear engine mount brackets between a 94-01 integra LS and a 94-01 integra GSR? i have a GSR bracket on my LS tranny and can only get 2 bolts to line up at a time....if i put the very top bolt in i cant get the two lower bolts to line up, but i can get the bolt through the motor mount...if i put one of the lower bolts in i cant get the upper bolt to even come close to lining up, the reason im asking is because it's darker than ****, it's extremely cold, and im extremely tired from working on this thing for the past 2 days...so my question is, am i gonna need a bracket that came from an LS or am i just an expletive idiot?
Is the Bracket you have from a Automatic?
Thats exactly what happened to me when i did my ls swap a week ago. Come to find out after about an hour of rolling around on the ground at 11pm, the bracket i had was from a automatic. Luckily the guy i bought the tranny from had a extra bracket. I got it, and everything fit perfectly.
Hope that helps.

nope my bracket is from a manual transmission, unless the guy that sold me told me wrong...is there any way to distinguish between the A/T one and the M/T?
The difference is on the lower part of the bracket that bolts to the transmission the bolt hole comes very close to the bottom of the bracket itself. There is only about 1/8 of an inch from the hole to the end of the metal. Its hard to explain without pics.
Let me try and tell you another way. All of the bolts are the same except for the lowest bolt hole on the whole bracket (imagine it in the car). Now, the space from the hole to the end of the metal is about 1/8 of an inch. If its about a half of an inch, you got an automatic.
I could be completely wrong on this info, there could be a difference between the ls and gsr tranny bracket. Help him out guys
