Default Zdyne ECU Clutch Cut Help: trying to wire it up

This might be a long shot here, but I have the Zdyne Gold ECU and my Clutch cut feature isnt wired up. Id like to get that going. I read the directions on how to wire it, but theres alot of "if's".

In short, my B11 location, in which they say to splice into and wire up to the starter relay, already has a green and black wire in it. In the directions, they say thats the "second clutch switch, which engages just as the clutch is depressed".

So, do I just cut that, and wire it to the relay, or wtf? They say I can use that as the source but dont say what to do with it, whether to cut, or splice, or what.

Anyone have any insight

well i havent gotten around to wiring up my clutch cut feature yet. the instructions that i have say that if you do have a wire there, usually green and it runs to the second clutch switch that you can use that as your switch. i guess if you do have two clutch switches you need to decide which one you want to use.

i was thinking of using the second one just because then you could preload your drivetrain while still being on clutch cut, where as if you use the other switch its off as soon as you are off the floor. but its up to you.

it says i.d where the wire from b11 goes, then decide which switch you want to use, use the wire from b11 to go to whatever switch you want. then you have to id the starter relay, which has four wires, (blk/wht, blk/wht, blk/red, blu/blk) splice the blu/blk wire from the starter relay into your wire from b11 going to whichever switch you chose. theres a test here as well on the instructions, which you might have in front of you, if not i will write them up here for you.

again this is what the instructions say to do, i havent gotten to mess with mine yet

edit: if you decide you want to use the secondary switch, and b11 goes to the secondary switch and to ground. then you can just use that and test to make sure its working, no cutting or splicing into the starter relay

Yeah, I got it to work. I just spliced the B11 wire and ran it to the starter relay and spliced it into the blue wire. It is easy and its pretty cool.

Set it at 3200 for now

spliced the green and black wire that was in there to the starter relay by the hood release latch. Just 1 wire straight across, under the carpet and it works like a charm
