Default Anyone know the weight of the 1992 Civic VX alloy wheels?

I just bought a set to run 185-60-13's on my 1988 CX Hatchback. They seem extremely light, but already have tires on them so I can't weigh them. I wouldn't be surprised if they weighed less than 10 pounds each. Thanks.

The only thing that I could find was that a VX wheel and a 165-70-13 tire mounted, weighs 25lbs. So your estimate of about 10lbs sounds about right +/- a pound or so...

Also, aren't the VX wheels 4.5" wide?

Well, my research had also told me 4.5 inches, but on the wheel, it says 5j x 13. Actually, a guy in my Solo 1 club was running 205-60-13 on a set last year, even though the absolute minimum for 205 is supposed to be 5.5. I'm sure it will be fine with 185's.

I have 205-60-13's as well, but I don't think i'll try that combo (have 5.5 inch VW steel wheels for those).
