hello i am new to the s2000 scene i use to have a 00 civic si and then i decided to give the s2000 a shot and i love it. Anyway i am saving up money for an exhaust system and i have been looking at the invidia exhaust so i just wanted to get some reviews and advise on what would be my best road to travel on picking the right exhaust thanxs

Used to have an Invidia...lots of drone between 3-4k. So bad I would either cruise above 4k or below 3k...and tended to shift a 3k to avoid the drone. Very loud in an unpleasent way. Sounded fantastic at WOT. Is about half the weight of stock exhaust.

I now have a T1R 63mm single and am very happy. Very little drone. Just loud enough to let you know it's there when cruising at 80mph. Sounds great at WOT. Also about half the weight of stock (kind of heavy for a single).

T1R also has a 70mm single that is supposed to be one of the best for making power. May be over your price limit unless used.

If must have a dual, consider the T1R Sparrow. May also be over your price unless used.

Research before you buy. Many aftermarket exhausts for the s2k only add sound. A few are significantly lighter than stock; some are just about as heavy. Many actually cost power...very few have shown real power increases.
