if you want to spray and boost then i would not go over 10:1 CR, the killer is for that motor or any f series motors especially that motor is the following :

stock t/b too small
and a plenty exhaust restrictions \
and especially for you my freind a lumpier cam is a must

even at 10:1 with turbo and nitrous your gonna have to pull a lot of timing...or run high octane gas....

i would go with around 8.5 or 9:1 just for daily driving abilities on pump gas

make sure the pistons are forged

hopefully he will invest in a good engine management system like a hondata/TEC/HALTECH unit to keep the tuning in check

i personally know someone with an turbo h22 in a 94 GSR running 11:1

its all in the tuning.....

Nitrous and a turbo is a recipe for pistons flambé, served out of block. Don't do it, just go with a turbo. Also, Misa, Kumho's are great, aren't they?(I use 205/55-15's on Kosei K1's)

If you are at all serious about adding the turbo/nitrous combo later, I would wait on installing the pistons. Lowering the compression would be the way to go, but you have essentially slowed your car down even more then it already is while you are still in NA mode.

Or Get nos and then save for the turbo and once you get the turbo put on use the nos to cool the intercooler.
