LS nitrous build. Looking for help on setup.
Im wanting to rebuild a spare ls motor i have for nitrous. im mostly wondering about what pistons, rods, headwork, nitrous shot and what kit (brand, wet, direct, plate?) would be best to get me into the 220-250+ whp range(if possible).
Im wanting to keep the car daily driveable since all i have is it and my work truck so keeping it on pump gas would be nice.

well believe your compression is around 9:1 .... nitrous loves high compressions.
so i'd say increase your compressions to 10-11 or so.. use forged pistons, sleeve
the block, get new valve components (springs, retainers, swirl polished valves),
.... dry nitrous kit if your gonna juice your stock motor.... wet is good for tuned
built motors.. or intercooled turbo motors.. search more and read around man.
anyways so after your built i'd say you'll be around 170 all motor.. and 75 hp shot
you'll be fine for a daily driver.
dircet port is the best type.. but costly. tuning is the key.

i have seen 125 on stock blocks run for years TUNED which is the key word so i would just get a 100shot fogger with proper fuel system like dsm injectors fpr and fuel pump and a ems like chrome or uberdata
cheap reliable build

in my ls i was making 230whp and 220ft-lbs on a zex 75 wet shot. i had P30 pistons and crower 403 cams.

I would say if you are planning on spraying over a 75 shot use direct port with a wet system the two cylinders furthest away from the intake get less fuel then the closer cylinders this means these two cylinders are leaner. There is no way to tune for only two cylinders so suggest direct port if you want to go with a 100 shot or so.
