Interior Drying Thoughts
Ok... so after pulling my EJ1 out of a pond, draining/replacing fluids/filters, flushing engine and getting the car back on the road, now I need some suggestions on the stock seats.
At the moment I'm not ready to replace the entire interior or convert it to JDM or ITR, so how would any of you suggest drying the seats out? Pulling the seats is no problem, but i'm wondering what the best way would be to dry the foam out.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Take it to a local car wash they usually have a little interior vacuum or carpet shampooer. Use the dry setting on the shampooer and go over you seat. Should dry them out after a few times.
minor accident, either the clutch slipped or the parking brake slipped, not sure since i wasn't driving but it rolled down a hill into a pond. totally submerged, but after letting it dry and doing some work on it, she's back on the road. just with a still damp interior.
i was hoping to tear out at least the driver's seat and do something like pop the foam into the dryer or something along those lines.

i wouldnt even bother with that.... if ur not ready to do the whole interior.... i would just go to the junk yard pick out any seats honda/acura of course.... and swap rails.... be easiest way.

yeah, think that's what i'll need to do, sad thing is there's a guy on the classifieds here parting out a civic just like mine with the same tan interior, just not a wet one. local junk yard out here works with only Honda/Acura and they'll probably have some interior parts.
...maybe it's time to get working on some upgrades instead...shame the engine didn't blow.
