Molding interior.
I have a 93 del sol that has bad weather stripping (surprising right) and since I cant drive it, it has been sitting. Today I opened it up and found mold growing on my seats. What should I do to prevent this? Someone told me about a container that soaks up moisture but I wasn't sure what they were talking about.

Remove the interior and pressure wash the carpet. Wash all the plastic peceswith soapy water.go through the whole interior to make sure there's no other mold spots on the floor.
Take the seats to a detailing place and have them steamvac the seats to get mold out of the seat foam.
buy some anti mold spray and spray carpet andseats when they dry.
Mold is a serious health hazard. I lived in a moldy appartment for a year and start having allergies very bad. And its ah cause for all kinds of lung diseases

Re: Molding interior.
theres this stuff called dry z air you can get at wal mart. its basically a descant in a bag that will take all the moisture out of the car to prevent mold and stuff. used it a few time. works pretty decent.
