Default Wierd problem need to fix quickly

I just got a used Chikara torque step header from my friend and installed it this afternoon. I used my original O2 sensor which I had to move because this header was meant for a D16 (VTEC SOHC) and mine is a d15b7. The car was running great all day and still is. The car is idling smoother because I fixed and exhaust leak and cleaned up some other things.

On the way to my friends my check engine light just showed up. My car is running smooth no smell from the exhaust or any other obvious symptoms. I tried reseting the ECU already and it showed back up instantly. I think my valves might need adjusted but would that set off the check engine light? My car does have 130,000 miles on it. Thanks for any help.

Haven't been able to yet but everything is running fine and it doesn't seem to go rich at all like when the O2 sensor goes. I'm gonna try reseting the ECU again in the morning for longer I don't think I left it out long enough this time because I was in a hurry at my friends. I'll check the code tm hopefully a reset will fix it though. Would starting the car without the O2 connected and then connecting it later once it was off confuse the ECU into saying it was good for awhile and then messing up? Also the header was cleaned yesterday and used to be on a car that constantly ran nitrous.

Well try reseting it again then if you still get the code, check to see what it is that is why they are there to help diagnose the problem.

Problem fixed. It was a really random problem. Thanks for telling me to check my codes. I thought it was gonna be a 1 for the O2 sensor but it was a 7 for the TPS. I have no idea how it came undone but my TPS sensor was disconnected, barely.
