Default I think I need to make a new downpipe

I just lowered my h22 turbo in an EG and my downpipe is way too close to the ground. I have 3 inch exhaust and 3 inch downpipe. I am only lookign for 300whp at most. What kind, if any, bottleneck would i create with a 2.5 inch downpipe?

You could still make 300whp with the 2.5 inch downpipe but a full 3 inch exhaust system is optimal for your h22turbo setup. Maybe some custom fab. could do it?

I have 4 inches between my DP and the ground on my turbo EF B20. Ive only ever hit once and thats cause I was going way too fast over a dip in the road. BTW my car is not lowered at all. Stick with the 3in and see how that goes....
