Default Weight of bare block

How much does a completely stripped D block weigh? I am planning to ship one and I want to know in advance. I'm talking totally stripped, no crank, no bolts, just the block.

What about main cap bolts? You need those to keep the caps in. What about the main caps themselves? It's not a good idea to mix and match unless you plastigauge it.

Don't know... I've got a bare block, you just sounded like you really wanted it stripped "like no bolts, nothing, just bare." I just figured to be nice and ask if you were going to ship it with the main caps or not. I would guess that you would, right?

I'm shipping it to a friend who blew his A6, but he doesn't know the condition of the inside yet... I guess we will see soon.

completely stripped it's only like... 30lbs. I had one of mine completely apart a week ago for some machining, and it was suprizingly light.

ps. this was a D16A1 block.
