How many of you guys with a Stock LS engine running 11psi of boost are not using a Block Girdle? I was wondering if this is a very important upgrade or if it is not necessary

 

15 lbs daily...and no block girdle

 

To add on to this post, how exactly does the block girdle work? Ive never seen the under side of one. it it essentially 3 (or 5) main caps cast into one, or does it bolt to the existing main caps? What im getting at is what bolts do you use and do the bearings ride in the girdle?

Whats included when you buy one new?

Also if im usin main studs to I need longer ones? are they offered?
