turning a eg6 into a drag chasis
Maybe if we knew what you meant by drag chassis. Are you talking a full on 25.5 chassis hot rod type car, or are you talking about a sportsman cage/chute SFWD type setup, or what? Try not being ultra-ultra vague on questions and maybe you'll get worthwhile answers
wel, i mean like how to re do the wires if ur not using the stock dash anymore....could u run the stock eg fuel tank and fuel pump without a stock key ignition?? and how to get power to the ecu to operate the injectors to open up so u could fire up the motor???? how do u do all that?? i search and found nothing....

Your really asking alot here man. Considering there is a great deal more involved in a drag chassis build, than just the ecu/ign/fuel pump. I dont think somone is going to just type it all out for you. Spend a little more time searching, there are threads covering all this stuff, u may just not find it all in one place. good luck.

with that kind of attitude you are sure to fail. its extremly hard building race cars, building entire engine harness's. setting up suspension. EVERY ASPECT OF RACING IS A CHORE.
you take the car to a shop. have them build it (so you know its done right) and when you have a problem you can consult with them. if you did this on your own, you would be chasing your own tail. you take the car to a shop. then you go to work so you can pay for that race car you have being built for you.
there are plenty of shops on here that will gladly assist you. (you have to pay them of course)

stock harness still connects to the ecu, which is also powered by the battery. run the fan, fuel pump on a switch...u can run the ignition wire to a switch as well. u will need to use a manuel to figure out witch wire it is.
i have a EF...fan, pump, and lights are on a switch...power from the battery to a distribution block-->to a switch--->to the pump, fan, and lights. Im running a fuel cell. so if u still want to use your stock harness....u can. hope this helps a lil bit.

Get your powerplant first then run it as a street class. If you still want to build it as a full drag chassis, start with the basic stuff like weight reduction (Fiberglass Front end, hatch), Lexan, Fuel cell, Suspension etc..
i kno that the stock fuel pump wires is hook up to the key ignition, because when u turn on the key the fuel pump starts to work for like 2-3 seconds.... so, if u take out the key ignition, how do u get the fuel pump to work?
