DRAG, F-MAX, or REV-HARD????
I am having a lot of trouble deciding between these turbos. I realize that they all use the same turbo, but what are some benefits and bad things about each????
Ive heard that DRAG kits are really hard to maintain and that the way their fuel system works you can really screw up engines unless they are tuned perfectly.
Ive also heard that F-MAX kits are made from cheap materials and are way overpriced (doesnt really matter bout price since they are all around the same price anyway).
And i havnt heard anything bout REV-HARD kits??
By the way, Its all going on a 1994 Integra RS (non vtec) (B18B)

What does standalone mean. Does that mean i dont use a fuels managment unit??? Sorry, I am new to all of this stuff.
Miraiz,
I've also seen a few occasions where the IC piping didn't line up at all. The current kit im helping to install is gonna need to be hacked, trimmed, lengthened to make it fit.

WHatever you do. If you buy the turbo kit, EXPECT problems. That way, if nothing happens, GREAT. If things happen, your ready for it.
My car was down for a year while I paid off my bills I accrued from my turbo stuff and more problems I had.
Beleive me, always plan for the worst. If it turns out better, it's just that much sweeter.

I am with ya SiR KiD, if ya think it will be smooth and easy then it won't! Lower your expectations and you'll not feel so bad! Too many young people get into having overly high expectations that they get upset too easily when things go any way but perfect! I tend to do that myself a little, but I try to remind myself to be REALISTIC!!!
GO custom with a standalone, it may be more expensive but you'll be glad you did it!!

About the FMAX kit. The quality is GREAT. About the pipes not fitting: thats because the pipes for the LS are bent wrong. They are working on designing new pipes this weekend.
Overall, I am pleased w/ my FMAX kit. But yeah, they are definitally understaffed and way, WAY too busy for the few people they have.
