Default JDM cluster wiring in US chasis

I looked around, and I couldnt find any info... does anyone have info on a us cluster in a JDM/ canadian spec chasis

my SI cluster has slight issues, where as if i have the stock one in place, it works perfectly fine. The si tach doesnt move past 3.5k, and when the ebrake is up, the tach drops to zero. also, the temp gauge and fuel gauges dont work at all.

Ok, I don't know what you mean Canadian spec? That's USDM too you know.

Anyways, yes it will bolt up. It's from 88-89, and 90-91. I did it and it works fine. Goodluck.

I am not worried about if it bolts up or not, I am worried about the wiring.
the stock cluster works fine, but the SI (us) cluster has strange grounding issues. There is also a blue square inlet plug on the back of the cluster... is that part of my problem

everything plugs right in dude.

if you use a cluster from the same year car.

88-89 and 90-91 like he said.

more people have this mod on their EF than SI wheels.

I have read alot of posts and it is stated that an 88-89 cluster will fit perfetly and bolt right up, but a 90/1 is slightly different. this bolts right up, so I am guessing it is an 88/9

please reply with technial responses, regarding to people that have had or encountered this problem
thanks

Why dont you stick it in and try it out. It takes 10 minutes to change. Don't be a wimp.
