Possible brake failure if rims/tires are too much bigger than stock?
I was using this tire calculator and it said that if the tire is more than 3% bigger than stock you run the risk of brake failure. Is this true?
3% bigger you have the increased chance of rubbing and your speedo/odometer will under-read.

It has to do with gearing. The transmission/VSS are geared for a certain wheel size and when you increase/decrease the size, it messes up the gearing and throws the speedometer off.
