Default quick question for anybody with an F22B1 and some way of getting pressure at the MAP (VAFC, SAFC, ga

i just need to know what the pressure at your MAP sensor is at WOT (100% throttle). i think i have a leak somewhere... but mine's now at -1.0 or -1.1 psi. this is NA obviously. thanks much!

I've never driving my car N/A with an AFC but what values are you expecting under load? I'd expect it to be approaching 0 (atmospheric pressure).

Are you sure you're seeing PSI and not mm/hg values for vacuum readings?

yea it's in PSI, you can pick your unit of measurement with the AFCs. you're right, it should and does approach 0, but i'm thinking maybe it should be closer to 0 than mine is. idling i think it's around -9.5 PSI, and engine braking causes like -12.5 PSI. i'm actually about to go drive somewhere to check up on another issue i'm having, so i'll recheck those numbers.

so yea...just rechecked. below are the common ranges.

WOT: -1.0, -1.1 PSI
idle: -10.5, -11.0 PSI
engine braking: -12.5, -12.8 PSI

a vacuum leak somewhere would explain some of the problems i'm having so if somebody could throw down some numbers for comparison that'd be great...

anybody? seriously this would take 2 seconds for anybody with a VAFC/SAFC/etc hooked up, or even a vacuum/boost gauge. thanks

I was doing some tuining yesterday, and while i"m boosted, these numbers all seem right to me. obviously WOT I see boost but I think -1 psi is about right for WOT n/a.

if you had a manifold leak your car wouldn't idle right at all.

well it only idles right like half the time...the other half it's surging like mad and/or killing itself. but if those pressures match maybe it's not the vacuum pressure. doh.

aright, so i swapped the stock fuel injectors back in thinking i'd need to send the DSMs off to get cleaned. when i took them out i noticed the seals were loose, like they'd expanded after i installed them. also, my WOT intake mani pressure with the stock injectors is consistently -0.8, -0.9 PSI. so now i'm thinking maybe it's just leaky seals. thoughts?
