When planning to do headwork, you have to let the head specialist know what type of setup you are planning to do. Not all headwork is the same and not all valvetrain parts are the same for each setup.
All Motor or Turbo, there can be different ways to do the porting for each setup. If its a big motor or stock bore, etc. Also, bigger valves are not always necessary in all cases. You only go bigger valves if the motor is going real big or turbo. Most often, standard size valves are needed to have the right velocity through the head.
Another good point is choosing valvetrains, make sure you are choosing the right spring rate for what you are doing. Whether its All motor and going to 9K to10K RPM with a high lift cam OR if you are doing a TUrbo motor boosting 30-40psi. Each setup requires different type of spring rates to work properly.
good luck on your build
