Well, my car has been finished, the swap is in. gsr with itr pistons, new rings, fresh hone, new bearings, stock gsr head. and it has been throwing this one code. Code #14, i believe it had something to do with the icav or something like that. I was wondering if it would be safe to drive the car with it on for a couple days, traveling about 40 miles each day. The car runs pretty good but when i let off the throttle it just sorta bogs. my friend already tried everything to his knowledge to try to fix it, and he knows a lot more than me, so imma just wait to the weekend to take it to a shop.
should be fine. if you haven't make sure the plug is plugged into the iac valve and all coolant hoses are connected to it. if that doesn't work, try removing the iacv and check the screen, it might clogged up. get some brake/carb cleaner and clean it up. also check for voltage coming from the plug.

the only annoying part is i can't seem to keep it at a steady rpm in 1st-4th gear while cruising, im just constantly accelerating so i gotta go in to neutral and then go back into gear to cruise at a constant speed, its pretty annoying. 2 more days, and it shall be fixed.

its just ur iacv..no big deal...sounds kinda funny saying it to a guy who just built his motor...but get yourself a helms manual and diagnose it yourself...pretty much theres only a few things that could be wrong with it...not getting power...clogged...or its done for...driving with it not connected will not have any adverse effects on your motor...yeah the cel will retard your timing so you wont be getting all the power potential, but youll be fine till you get it fixed
