Default check engine light

I drive a 00 Gs-r

hey i jsut got my brakes replaced at my local shop..i got the car back today and
noticed that the check engine light was on...so i took it back and they said they will check it with the diagnostic thing...and tell me what code its throwing..

the problems ive noticed are..
idle is jumping from 800-1200 while sitting still
major decrease in throttle response
when i press the gas sometimes it hesitakes and then kicks in like im flooring it
the car shakes while sitting still

can anybody tell me whats wrong with it

also i will update this at about 12:30 tommorow with the code that its throwing

re-do your plug wires

when you look at the engine from the front of the car this is the order on the block

4 3 2 1

and on the distributor hook the numbers above up like this on the dizzy when you are looking at the distributor from the passenger fender

3 4
1 2

hopefully i explained it well enough

check you spark plugs to see if they are properly tightened and do not have a large amount of carbon build up on them

The only ones autozone ever carries that's "good" is the denso's. I don't think they carry NGK's. They have bosch, i'd stay away from them on a honda.

NGK are the best plugs for your car

as far as the workers beating the **** out of it, thats why I let no one work on my car, period, and if I have to valet it im getting a chip that has a fuel cut at 3500 and a rev limit at the same rpm so they couldnt beat the **** out of it if they wanted to

my buddy has all that computer **** put on his talon. and he can run the whole car through his palm pilot, when he took it in they were surprised to find that the revlimiter was set at 3500, cause he knew they would beat on it. he told them he set it like that and they refused to work on it
