just wondering if b series cranks are interchangeable. interested in putting b20 crank into p72 block. will it work and run with any issues?

 

It will work. The b20 crank is the same as the LS crank.
You'll basically have an LS vtec with oil squirters.

 

do i just need a crank? or do i have to use the complete kit (crank, rods, b20 bearings, & any stock piston)
i'm looking for a reliable alternative route to stroking my block, somewhat....
any shaving have to be done for clearence?

you can put in the LS/B20 crank in the GSR block. Just remember you are changin the stroke and have to put the matching rod/proper length so it fits right.
