Default Intake mainfold gasket?

I have a 1995 accord 2.2L vtec. my girlfriend was driving down the road and white smoke started pouring out of the tailpipe. the oil light has been coming on and off lately and the car has a weird sputter when apply light pressure on the throttle. as far as the white smoke pouring out of the tailpipe, would that be due to the intake manifold gasket going bad, or would that be the head gasket? any help would be great.

I don't think an intake manifold gasket could cause a problem to the point where it makes the car smoke as you said.
Any one got more ideas????

What does your antifreeze look like? I suspect the head gasket.

oil light coming off and on with white smoke? it's not your IM gasket, that's for sure.

STOP DRIVING THE CAR. You've probably already caused some severe damage if you've been driving it with the oil light blinking.

blinking oil light means no oil pressure. I doubt it's the head gasket.

Have a leakdown test done to pinpoint the problem.

well i know the oil pressure is bad. its her car and i just moved down here and she hasnt gotten an oil change done on it since i came down and thats 3000 miles plus however many miles her last oil change was. every time the light comes on, i add more oil to it and the light goes off, which lead me to believe that it was just burning off oil real bad. i did notice fresh oil coming out from underneath the distributor cap, but im still not sure if it actually coming from the cap or if its coming from somewhere else. she just took it to the shop about 2 months ago and they replaced the radiator and coolant hoses cause it was leaking bad. the car doesnt overheat, and other than the slight sputter that it has, the car runs fine. im puzzled as to what it could be.
