***Need help, check engine light with obd1 ecu***

I got a 89 crx with obd1 ecu, does anyone know how to make the MIL flash, so I can know what's my cars problem?? Thanks in advance!!!

ground pin d4 at the ecu and count the flashes on your cluster.
