Default Replacement fuel pump what quality???

My fuel pump in my 94 accord DX is biting the dust, mechanic said don't bother with el cheapo's from discount stores.

Advanced 133.00 >>> I don't really trust advanced/autozone parts.

Net "OEM" part 204.19 >>>OEM or OEM quality? I've seen both claims at the same price.

Honda #1 383.29 local dealership
Honda #2 354.90 50 miles away.
edit to add Honda #3 355.00 100 miles away.
Recommendations? Thoughts?

i would recommend getting a walbro 200 lph fuel pump, you could probably find one for about the same price or maybe even cheaper.

If you want your Fuel pump to last, you should not run your tank down below 1/4 or to "E" all the time. I am pretty sure that you have to pull the tank down to change it so you may want to run the tank as empty as you can before you change it

There should be a drain plug on the tank.

if ur jsut looking for a stock replacemnt, i'd go with a walbro 190lph pump. less noise, and pretty good quality can be had for less than 100 bucks shipped.

exactly what i was gonna say. 190lph is actually good for a decent amount of hp over stock hp.

Yeah I've noticed that ebay is eat up with walbro 190's and 255's...

Are these plug and play or does a person have to hack up the wiring harness for the install? keep in mind I have no idea what the "harness" may look like at this moment. Same goes for ever how they mount in the tank? 99 bucks sound like a great deal assuming they'll last more than a year.

Also what is the flow rate of the stock pump? I suppose a 190lpm won't affect the rest of the stock delivery system.
Just read 190lpm is the OEM flow rate....???

Thanks for the replies...

what does that have to do with his question?

it bolts right in. You might have to reuse the filter from your stock pump but that's no problem. it's an exact swap.

BTW it's 190lpH not lpM. we have a returned fuel system changing the pump will not affect anything.
