car goes into gear but won't move.....?
ok, sorry if this is a stupid question, but i have tried searching already. i swapped in a d15b2 motor to my 91 crx, because the other motor i had burned oil, misfired, and was a p.o.s. and im on a budget. so it started up and everything, but when i put the car into gear, and let the clutch all the way up, it didn't stall or do anything. it goes into gear, i can feel it, but it just won't do anything. the guys who did my swap forgot to check the throwout bearing, and said it might be cracked, but the tranny was also dry when we got it, and i dont remember them adding fluid. so could it be that the reason is there is no tranny fluid? it grinded going into gear, which i believe is common, when you put it into reverse at a "high" rpm it grinds.... well any help is appreciated, and all i need is help, no off topic crap. thanks guys.
dunno if this is it but when i did my b16 swap my axles were just a little bit to short and it was late and we cranked them bitches down hard as hell with the impact and we go to back it out of the garage and....nothing, wheels WONT TURN AT ALL and im freakin out b.c weve been goin at it for about 12 hours and your just fried (some of you guys know how it is, forget where u set ****, etc ,etc ...it sucks) I had all kinds of crazy **** runnin through my head but yea.......It was just them damn axle nuts.
If its in gear and you rev it and your rpm's go up but your car goes nowhere then its the axel. I went through that for 2 years and never knew the prob.
