I own an 88hf crx. I have an extra intake manifold from a 91crx si. I want to put it on the HF model. It should bolt right up with no problems, correct? I will be replacing the gasket with a new SI one. All help is appreciated, thanks.

I believe they are completely two different things, the Si much different in design than the HF intake. But some one else will confirm this.

 

It should bolt up. I don't think you are really going to benefit from it though, the HF is designed to sip gas, that little 8 valve head isn't going to flow too much, just look at the difference between the HF and other intake arms and throttle bodies.

 

you wont feel any difference by doing this. get an si head then you will feel a huge difference by going from 8 valves to 16

 

cant use a 16 valve head with hf pistons cuz they only have 8 valve reliefs
