I just recently bought a 98' Honda Civic SI (Automatic) and im not really good with cars to begin with. I would want to put a good stereo system in my car, but.. there is a problem. Ill try to say this in words as best as i can becase i do not have a camera. Right now, there is a stock tape deck sitting low, right where the Shifter is, and right down from the tape deck is a broken cover to the cup holders. The cover is suppose to push down and lock in place but it sits up because of its spring mechanism and is blocking the tape deck. Not really a problem, just an annoyance. Now... My controller deck is sitting higher on the dash or w/e and that controls the sound, radio, etc.. and also has a screen. THE REAL QUESTION IS... where would my Stereo deck be put? and is there anyway to fix the cover of the cup holder? (parts??)

 

buy a trim kit from an audio store: circuit city, bestbuy..ect.
and for honda parts. you can always go to Pick-N-Pull..
probably pick up parts for at most 15 dollars.
