Default Need help in searching for a shop in Cali to work on my H22...

I need to get my engine fully rebuilt (w/ new parts: cams, cam gears, valvetrain, etc.) and possibly have the block bored out for the Type-S oversize pistons. I've searched, called, and emailed all the shops I can think of and can't find anyone that specializes in H22's. Just wanted to know what shops you guys go with?
Thanks,
Kev

My builder is very good and he works at Golden Eagle. Do you want his info? he is a really nice guy too...not arrogant, very mellow and knows a lot. He is in the 626 area though...a little far for you.

His name is Mark, hit me up if you want his info. He built my B16 for boost and built my brothers LS.

We specialize in ALL Honda engines. We build custom and basic setups for H, K, B, D, F, and even C series.

We've done custom race H22 for all motor and turbo. Remove balance shafts, custom pistons for high compression, prep engine for dry sump systems, etc.

Email or call us if you have any questions.

pm'd. I'll let you know what he says.

Thanks guys for supplying me with shops. We should have a directory for performance/machine shops, like a "yellow pages" or something. I'm shootin' a bunch of emails out to all of them so if there are more shops out there, let me know. I appreciate it!

Try Max-Ha, he does the work you working with. Most shops wont jump hurdles to earn your business. Alot of people come out of these shops and all will say there shop is x times better over a other shop. Just need to do some talking and not let a budget hold you back.

Yeah Max ha comes to mind give him a call.
