how to unistall rear motor mount 88-91 crx

Default how to unistall rear motor mount 88-91 crx

how do you take off the whole rear motor mount..?? there that one bolt on the back that i can't get to.. how do you get to it??

since i dont have the right tool i always end up dropping the rear subframe,,,but i hear you just need some kind of swivel joint with an extension..

I removed it when the motor was out of the car, but I forget which tool i used. I know it's a SUPER TIGHT fit.

I just did it two days ago. remove the intake tube, pull the fuel filter bracket off the firewall and pull the map/soleniods off the firewall. Take a long 3/8"extension 18" or more and go thru the heater hose sw/bracket. Then put the 14mm socket on the extention while you have the extension thru the heater thing. then slide it on the bolt. It will be tight but you can do it.

This will work trust me. I didn't think I could get a socket on it either.

Oh yeah, use a small 14mm socket not a deep socket.

thats the thing i need right there..sick and tired of dropping the subframe when i do swaps for people...

what is the exact name of that swivel thing on the end of the extension??
