Default Engine Pictures. Critique needed.

Took the head off of my motor to inspect a few things and took some pictures. The motor has CP pistons/stock rods and has been broken in for ~1500 miles. Just want to know if you guys see any issues that I may not have found from my inspection. I noticed a lot of buildup on the top of the pistons and oil. I’m not too sure where the oil may be coming from. The cross hatch from the hone is still showing.

Engine looks to be running very hot/lean and from the looks of the design of the piston i would say this is a forced induction setup. I would check the valve stem seals on the intake side, specifically cylinder #4.

Thanks for the information. I'm thinking that oil is getting in through the intake valve side (valve stems like you suggested). It's creating a lot of heat in the combustion chamber and making the exhaust valves look like that.
