took randyss' car to the track and ran it a few times. the first few runs the car had issues in 4th gear, but never got a log to see what was going on and when we finally did get a log found the a/f was way too lean and the damage had been done to the motor. turned the boost down (30ish psi) and ended up running 10.72@132. the next pass was not so lucky. during the burn-out #2 rod decided it wanted out and left with a dramatic exit. fun while it lasted. will post up pix/video combo later.

Too bad, you have one of them freak motors, damm good times what's your suspension, slicks?,lsd?,clutch?

 

omnipower drag, 25" slicks, quaiff, tilton twin disc. we are not hurt that is broke, it was so much fun. if i can find a way to post the video you will see that we are laughing about it.

 

shouldnt the trap speed be alot higher for that amount of whp.

 

I seen the run's tonight, i think my friend has it all on video, will tell him to post it up

Btw. you guys were the fastest import out tonight There was a talon out that put down a 10.8 i bileve

they made the 600 something hp on i believe 39 psi. he said he hurt the motor the previous pass and turned down the boost to 30 psi

im in no hurry. we have a few other cars that need some attention first. so i think the setup is going to go on my daily and start all over with the racecar.

4th pass it went 10.7, and on the 5th the motor let go.

it was worth it. Now the major damage will come the funny part is this was made off a stock set up, what will we see built........maybe 750+?

it made a lot of passes with a lot less horse power. but it only took 4 and a burn out with 630.

 

hey atleast it ran a 10.7
