ok guys i've been trying to order parts and i'm a little confused here i used the http://www.zealautowerks.com/ compression calculator
i'm using a
p72- gsr head (has aftermarket valve springs and retainers
buddy club spec 4 cams
b18b bottom end
z10 3 main block girdle
ctr 81.50mm pistons
b18b rods not sure which ones to run
oem headgasket
stock crank
my thing is the calculators saying i'm gonna have 14.38 compression ratio is this thing correct i heard it gives you lower numbers so i'm a little worried that seems high

^^^^^^^^^ First, take a look at that.
Anyway, yeah that does seem high, around ~13.4 sounds about right.

IMO you'd be better off with a P30 piston.. more squench area and it's a lighter piston.
If you had better fuel than just pump gas to tune it.. That would work, if not, you'd be better off running the P30s instead of pulling lots of timing out.

Like he said, run a p30 piston.
