b16 smokes only in vtec?

Default b16 smokes only in vtec?

ok it runs great but when it hits vtec it smokes, is that normal ? thanks

You lose a little oil in VTEC

Try a leak down test. If your rings are good then depending on how white the smoke is it may be coolant from a headgasket leak or something. Odd's are that the rings are worn and letting a little oil by. As long as there isnt gob's of smoke flying out the back of your car then you're fine.
