Help with ground control coilover spring rates.....
Ok guys... eg hatch... k20 motor...tokico illuminas
Want a happy medium between drag and road race...
The car is not a daily driver, but will be drived on the street to the track, and the sunday drives for the sake of driving my car...
I need some recomended springs rates. I called ground controll and they recomended 350 fronts and 380 rears....... and im wondering if this sounds a bit soft to you guys.....
Anyone out there with a really good idea of what kind of sprig rate i should be looking into??? Are the ground control guys right, or are they being conservative??? And no, i dont mind taking a bit of punishment on the street as long as it doesnt rip my chasis apart....
So, what do you guys think????

id go with 350f/380r then. thats pretty stiff.
i would not go more than 450 in the rear.
do not compare actual racing spring rates that you may hear like 400/600 or 450/900. ground controls normal 350/280 spring rates are darn stiff as it is. them suggesting raising the rear springs over 30% is a lot.

I agree with Tyson. If your still not sure, just call GC directly & tell them exactly what you told us. They will assemble a kit to fit your needs. They really know these cars well...
