recommended spring rate for ground control

Default recommended spring rate for ground control

i plan on getting tokico illuminas + gc coilovers for my 99 civic ex
i want as smooth a ride for the daily driving, but still want to gain better handling.

what custom spring rates do any of you recommend?

I can tell you that if you want a smooth ride then you should NOT get 375f/350r.

This is what im running and it is bouncy like ghetto cut springs.

In fact, if i had to do it again, i would not get ground controls. Id AT LEAST go with Tein SS's.

id deff go gc's....i belive mine are 450frond and 350 back.....bumps arnt that bad...just take it like a man......

Call up Ground Control and tell them what you intend to do with the car, and ask them to recommend a good spring rate setup for you.

What struts are you running? OEM?

Why? So you can overpay for JDM bling when GC coilovers with custom rates work just as well?

thats what im on with agxs and it rides good.

yeah dude are you on stock shocks? thats really wierd. all the cars with GC's that I've rode in are smooth as hell.

Ground Control actually sells lowering springs with near stock spring rates if you want to maintain you current ride feel while improved handling from a lower center of gravity. but thats kinda pointless...best bet is to get a slightly higher spring rate front and rear
