whats up.. this is my first post so obviously im a "noob". anyway i just purchased a 98 honda civic DX. i wanted to put a sunroof. has anyone ever cut a hole in there roof and made a sunroof? is it even possible if so how much will it cost? thanks..

Search my name....I had a thread about sunroofs a while back *make sure to look under "archived"*....its pretty informative. I decided NOT to get a sunroof.

 

I've seen it done a few times at a friend's bodyshop...a few words describe it really well: Long...Extensive....Hard...

G2 make sure everythign is just PERFECT 'cause if you don't, you'll spring leaks, lots of lazer measuring involved, lots of grinding away mm's at a time, in my humble opinion it's not worth, I'm not sure what jess charges people to put sunroofs in, but I guarantee you for what it is, it definately, definately, is not cheap

Then get a moon roof, they're clear

Naw, seriously, it's not worth the money, then you have to find somebody who does body work that'll do it 100%, you don't want leaks in the future, save ur money....BUY JDM...iono, save it for something else, turbocharge ur car or something
