Default jdm SIR automatic cluster question....

ok fellas so i put a jdm sir auto cluster into my 92 eg hatch..There should be three plugs goin into the back of the cluster and theres only 2..What is not goin to work?..The speedo or the tach?...

*the car isnt goijn to run for another few weeks.

You only need two (the grey ones). The other is for the gear indicator lights which you don't need to plug in. That's all. Everything else will work.

but three grey plugs go into the back of a 5sp cluster..and theres 2 grey ones in the auto cluster now, and the one funny looking green one..&lt;---that im asuming is the gear indicator...

im really tryin to figure out what that third grey plug is for.?

The cluster swap is very straight forward...for me at least. You put the JDM cluster in there using the same plugs as the old one. And if there is anything extra, or missing...then it didn't need to be there anyway.

The green plug on my Si went to the cruise control indicator.

Wait a tick, you're saying theres only 2 plugs on the back of the cluster? That doesn't seem to make sense, but if theres no "hole" for it, then it was not meant to read it right? So it should work anyway

i have a jdm auto cluster in my 93 cx. the cluster only had two plug holes, worked fine
