the stock ecu will not work and either will the stock distributor. its not just a drop in, you will need to change some parts out like the o2 sensor and do some wiring.

You can use the obd0 system. If you want to run VTEC "Stock-Like" find an imported PW0. Otherwise use a pr4 or pm6 with a msd rpm activated switch. If you use the msd switch you will probably run lean on Vtec change over so chipping the pr4 or pm6 would be a wise investment.

The price of obd1 components are very cheap nowadays, so I see no reason to not convert. That is unless you don't know what your doing then... um... Buy a manual and find someone who is knowledgable about this stuff. Or take a semester of tech school to learn the automotive ropes. Your best ally with these problems is experience. Good luck and GET TO WORK!

i suggest converting obd1 and running a p28 ecu..you can always hack up the si dizzy from your car and make it fit the z6 head,,then have the 91 si ecu pm6 chipped with a program called turboedit,,and have some sohc vtec 1.6 maps burned ,,and it will be able to control vtec also as long as you dont want a/c anymore..if you're interested in turboedit with vtec check out http://xenocron.com
