Default finally found: itr 1996 new brakes.

I have found brakes for my 96 itr suspension. I found a guy who has an account with endless in japan. He says can supply me with 96 itr rotrs and pads. Brand new ones. They r from endless and are NOT cheap. I'm looking at $803 for all pads and rotors. His name is san and he runs rcdmotorsports.

What about using Accord wagon brakes instead? They're the same as the ITR.

$803 for 4 rotors and both sets of pads? That's hilarious.

I still wonder why people buy the '96-Spec ITR suspension. It's crap, and it's more headaches and investment than necessary. But I guess it's "JDM, y0!"

Not the '96-Spec JDM ITR brakes.

He could buy 92-96 Prelude rotors, but would need 98 Spec Calipers.

803 is all pads and all rotors . Basic rotors. The slotted endless ones would be $1444.
He says he just found me stock replacement parts though for $712. That's what ima do. I do have a 88 hatch with h22 and I know that's a lot more weight, but the itr rotors are bigger than my stock 4x100 rotors. That's upgrade enuff for me. But I still might try bb4 parts because it would be way cheaper. if it fits. I still don't know. Still trying to find out

you can use prelude vtec rotors, but you have to convert to 98 spec R calipers.

17CL15VN calipers came on several cars in the US, and remans can be found for $60-80 per side. You can probably cut that in half if you can find some at the junkyard return as cores.

I'm not sure which caliper bracket is the proper one to use.

i know a guy that can get me OEM rotors 4x114.3 for the 96 spec for $350. $803 is a lot for just pads and rotors... just tell him to get you rotors, pads you can use GSR, del sol VTEC, etc

edit: do not PM me and ask if i can get it or who the person is. you will be ignored

Another $600 or so you can get all Wilwoods with calipers. What you might not be thinking about is the wait time if you suddenly need a rotor or a set of pads. At least with the Wilwoods kit you can find any Wilwood dealer and have parts the next few days instead of weeks.

That won't work. You need 17CL15VN calipers for the 11.1" rotors.
