ITR calipers....what pads besdies ITR????
i was wondering what other Honda models' brake pads will fit ITR Calipers. Reason i ask is because OEM ITR pads are more expensive than say accord wagon pads or accord v-6 pads or prelude vtec pads. I know that they should work since they are of the same casting but i just need to confirm that they are.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't understand the purpose of having ITR brakes if you're going to use OEM pads.

Because huge brakes will stop a Civic a thousand times better than the stocks, even if they are stock ITR's, maybe?

IMO the purpose of getting ITR brakes is to get better braking with OEM quality/longevity. Harder (more ferrous) pad compounds will stop better but get used to replacing/resurfacing your rotors. Just because you've put something from an ITR on your car doesn't mean your ready to go all out. It's an upgrade, and OEM vs. OEM, it's better than Civic brakes.
And to answer the original question, 97-01 Prelude front pads will fit, rear pads (I think) are exclusive to the ITR.
