that negative wire is most likely supposed to connect to your chassis. look for a missing bolt in that area.

your amp wire looks fine.

that won't last. find a screw for it, should be able to get one at the local hardware store pretty easily.

that should'nt matter as long as the metal is clean and you secure it GOOD! if not you will have shitty performance... not mention no bass!

ya I bet it connects to the chasis. The wire connects to the body in order to provide electrons, so the metal rust is at a minimial.
Thank you chem 302

That wire should be connected to a space for it, located left of the started. It goes with a 10mm screw..... and there should be another wire next to it where that one should go!!!

What I am extremely scared of is...If you can not figure out where to put this ground, how in the world did you figure out how to install an amp.
Did you run an inline fuse no longer than 18" away from the battery? How did you ground your amp? Did you use duct tape anywhere? I have done so many "fix it installs" from so called do it yourselfers such as yourself that should never touch a wire. Good luck though

The ground you have seems ok but you mentioned the use of Duct tape. Does this imply it's not secuirely attached? Frankly Duct tape has no place in a Honda and looks bad even in an otherwise clean car.

BUT in all seriousness that duct tape is worthless. Just make sure you have a bolt that holds the wire securely and don't put any duct tape on it.
