Default scantool usage

i did a obd1 swap to my EF using a P06 ECU. i cant get the datastream out of it. i know i got evreything hooked up coreectly. TX/RX to D18. using a snapon scaner w/ the HON-1 adapter and upto 97 cartrage.

plz help me on this. car runs good and i get codes on CEL.

why not just jump the connector on the passenger side to read the codes. (the old fasion way)

i have been doing that. but i want the datastream for school. yes agreed that i can jump the conector, but if i can get realtime info from the DLC than thats what i'd like. CEL wont say what the fuel trim and coolent temp are etc...

i did. aparently snap-on didnt have the data for civics. my teacher only did domestics for a living. he knows nothing bout imports.
