right now im running on shitty shocks/struts... i ran out of money( lincoln tech has ripped me off) i have full energy suspension master bushing set, motor mounts, front and rear strut tower braces, neuspeed springs.....what shocks would you reccomend, im thinking the koni yellows.
Learn how to launch. Don't pop the clutch at high RPM's. I had the same issue when I first got my 5th gen. I used to pop the clutch in my old Toyota at redline and didn't have any hop so I tried this with my prelude (not at redline....at about 4-5RPM) and I hopped like mad.
All you have to do is feather the clutch at a lower RPM and you will be fine. or spend all that cash to upgrade and you might be fine.

I think that is dangerous? not sure. I think that all the tire psi has to be at the correct pressure. Yeah just feather the clutch, just slowly but quickly let go of the clutch. Don't let go of the clutch off the line.

get a suspension which is designed for performance... Maybe some SHOCKS that are made to travel in the range the aftermarket springs put them at... Thats your main issue.. Stock shock travel is designed to barely see what you keep it at normally with the lowering springs... This will cause poor performance from your shocks, and shorten their life.. Odds are, they are BLOWN now... It also seems as if you havent tried everything to fix it considering you havent even upgraded the suspension...
Lower the tire pressur:
e a good bit in the fronts to reduce a large portion of the problem... Yes, this is common and will not hurt your tires unless left for large periods of time and/or daily driving...
Traction bars: already covered....
can be bought for the 4th and 5th gen preludes which are designed to eliminate wheel hop problems...
Motor mounts: covered elsewhere

I feather my launch real well and get almost no wheel hop. The problem is my 1-2 shift. Thats when my car starts a- hoppin. I shift a little deep(around 7800rpm's)because as I shift I start hoppin and losing traction and my RPM's drop pretty fast while Im losing this traction. How do you guys deal with this?? (*BTW my car is not all powerful just simple bolt ons)
