Crome...good for tryin to tune your own?
Ok so i have right now the Hondata S200 and i have been reading up on Crome and how it is....now what im really curious about is if it is a good way to go if you wanna learn to tune your own cars...heres my questions and i have searched and found a few threads, so i did read about a few of these questions but they didnt really answer all of these...
is it easy to use?
how accurate is it and how many people have it?
does anyone have any real issues with it?
what other parts do you need to tune your own car?
how would i burn it to a chip?
I downloaded the program and was trying to figure it out...but i dont really know what any of the main things mean..where would be the best place to learn how to use the program and how to use it right?? (i did read the site but it didnt help me to figure out what each and everything does on the program, or any other tuning program)
Thanks for anyone's help,
B

Ideally you would want a wideband O2 and datalogging, in order to see exactly what you are tuning. The problem with the free version of Crome is that it doesn't support datalogging, which is my only real problem with it.

If you're looking for a software package to take up the slack for what you lack in general fuel injected knowledge, you're looking the wrong place. If you're looking at the fuel/ignition tables in Crome, and they have you baffled, it's going to continue baffling you in other software packages too. The link JDM_Ej provided is a great place to start off in learning what all those 'main things' do.
Crome is great! very easy to use and full featured when you add plugins
as stated above, pgmfi.org has TONS of info
edit: im talkin about Crome Pro (not the free version... free version is useless without datalogging....)
