knock sensor and plug
I'm having a problem with my knock sensor plug staying attached to the sensor. Just wondering if anyone could post a pic of how its supposed to look so i can compare.
Its working fine, but when i drive it spiritedly it seems to vibrate loose. Thanks guys.

thanks len, i think mine is broke or something, i'll post up some pics when i get home, its just not staying clicked on. It works fine, but the cel comes on when it wiggles off the sensor. Any detrimental effects of this coming unplugged?
edit: oh and len thanks for all yor help with my swap, its running amazingly. This plug seems to be the only problem i have left. It feels great to say that.

that's weird that it comes off. i can't picture it ever just slidin' off even with a broken lockin' clip. i just wired mine up a few days ago, but i can't take a pic of it now, with tha intake manifold on there. sorry. good luck, though.

well, "Honda Knock Sensor enables your vehicle to obtain the optimum combination of timing and fuel/air mixture to generate power and efficiency and that means less wasted gas."
plus, some of us need it for referee and/or smog. i've got to go to a referee myself, and so i had to wire up a KS. but yeah, i will be goin' back to my p28 (easier to program) only because i want to save my p30 for smog.
