The best motor for that car is the one that came from the factory with.
One that is running in tip-top shape and can get you from Point A to Point B without fail.

your gonna get alot of different answers, some people are gonna say lsvtec, some are gonna say ls turbo, some are gonna say complete swap and build all motor, and some are gonna say just do basic bolt ons, on the stock motor to stay reliable. basically if your gonna go all motor, do it right, and get someone who knows what they are doing, same with turbo do it right, and get a good tune! the tune is a major factor in modding your engine. personally i would turbo the ls, cause thats what im doing with mine, get a good tune, run relatively low boost and it can easily be a quick daily driver...

I think id turbo it if youre willing to go down that road. Its not that much slower than gsr as it sits right now, and if you turbo'd it with low boost, itd be a lot faster than a gsr, itd even be faster than a type r.
Probably cheaper than swapping too.

if you are looking for the best power to cost ratio, i would go turbo. you get way more power for about the same cost as type r swap.
